dino comes from konstant(d)inopolis

Well, apparently somebody has been busy setting up a Dino family tree..humble beginnings, but it is certainly coming together. I have always myself wondered where this name came from..and word has it that the forefathers of the "clan" came way back from syria and egypt to what is nowadays albania and greece. some spread over to italy, some to canada, others to france and a biggish part went to Istanbul and they were called "those who went to konstantinopolis". When you pronounce the word the strong "t" turns into a much softer "d". A plain, but acceptable explanation. It makes sense, doesn't it?
